The short version. We collect as little as possible, we never sell it, and everything we do collect exists to get garments to you and answer your messages. This policy is written to comply with Canada's PIPEDA and BC's PIPA.
What we collect. If you join our email list: your email address. If you write to us: your name, email, and whatever you include in your message. If you place an order: your name, shipping address, email, and order details — payment card details are handled entirely by our payment processor and never touch our servers. Basic, anonymous visit statistics (page views, country, device type) may be collected by our hosting provider, Vercel; these are aggregated and do not identify you.
What we don't do. No selling or renting your information. No advertising trackers. No third-party ad cookies. The bag on this site is stored in your own browser, not on our servers.
Who we share with. Only the services required to operate: our hosting provider (Vercel), our payment processor (when checkout is live), and shipping carriers — each receives only what it needs. Some of these providers process data outside Canada (typically in the United States).
How long we keep it. Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe (every email has a one-click link). Correspondence: up to two years. Order records: seven years, as Canadian tax law requires.
Your rights. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except records we're legally required to keep). Write to studio@ossestudio.ca and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes. If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. This version: July 2026.
